    The Swedish underwear brand Frank Dandy opens their first concept store. The shop is adjacent to the company's new office and showroom on Västmannagatan 47 in Stockholm.

    "We are pleased that we have found a location where we combine our daily core business of offering consumers the ability to purchase our products in a natural pure Frank Dandy store. We already operate our own retail online, this physical area gives us another platform to showcase our whole concept" says Frank Dandy CEO Daniel Westerberg in a comment.

    FRANK DANDY MATCH GROWTH WITH UNDERWEAR EXPERTISE

    Frank Dandy Superwear puts product development in focus and recruits Lollo Abrahamsson Hildebeck, founder of Björn Borg underwear, and Marika Gross, with long experience from underwear brand Jockey, to coordinate Frank Dandy’s product development and lead the company's purchasing department.

    The duo has in recent years worked successfully with production and purchasing as agents, focused on the underwear and beachwear segments. Together, they possess great experience in production, logistics and purchasing and has since the 80s been active in the underwear business in Sweden and internationally.

    "What Lollo and Marika don’t know about underwear is not worth knowing. They bring to Frank Dandy extraordinary expertise in production and an extensive production network. Together with the recruitment of Musse Hasselvall as creative director, we have a fantastic team to continue our product development and to support our strong phase of international expansion", says Susanna Bervå, CEO Frank Dandy Superwear.

    FRANK DANDY APPOINTS MUSSE HASSELVALL NEW CREATIVE DIRECTOR

    Frank Dandy Superwear recruits Musse Hasselvall as Creative Director and in charge of the company's continued brand and design work. Musse has extensive experience from the film, television and advertising industry. He is also an outstanding fighter with much interest in fashion and clothing. Earlier this year, Musse was voted as Sweden's best-dressed man by fashion magazine ELLE. His inspiration comes from people who dare to stand out and he is dedicated to always challenge the expected.

    "I love underwear. Had it been socially acceptable, I would prefer to dress in underwear only. It would have made it much easier for me to choose. Since I am so picky with the way I dress it often makes the process of dressing terribly tedious. I have many great ideas to apply on Frank Dandy to further develop the brand, concept and expression. We will start the creative process immediately and by autumn 2011 Frank Dandy will launch important news in the collection and take the patterned underwear design to a new level.
