Our garments are manufactured in compliance with a profound commitment to good working conditions and the highest ethical and environmental standards. These standards are maintained through our code of conduct and by insisting on implementation of the relevant laws and regulations pertaining in each country of manufacture.
Frank Dandy prohibits the use of dangerous or forbidden chemicals in the manufacture of its garments. All suppliers are required to implement the chemical guidelines issued by the Swedish Textile Importers’ Association. We are dedicated to manufacturing products with minimal impact on the environment.
We cooperate only with factories that subscribe to our Code of Conduct. This is founded on the UN’s ILO (International Labour Organization) conventions, the UN Declaration on Human Rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. To promote the highest standards of social responsibility, our supplier factories are certified in compliance with the code of conduct established by the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative). We monitor wages and working conditions to confirm compliance with current legislation and respect for workers’ rights.
No child labour
Our suppliers and their subcontractors are required to refrain from employing those under the age of 15 in the packing or production of our goods or services. The use of forced labour is strictly prohibited, as is any form of discrimination.
Wages and working hours
We consider respect for minimum wage and working hours’ legislation to be essential. We feel personal responsibility for those involved in the production of the Frank Dandy range.
