Frank Dandy’s summer collection has finally sneaked up on the weather. Its now possible to see all the beautiful pieces of underwear for both men and women on our site. We have some exciting new patterns and colours are made for your consideration. A personal favourite is the new coloured swimwear Saint Paul that comes in a vivid grapevine colour! But it’s much more than that. The collection photos are taken from our infamous boy photographer and have given this collection a twist we haven’t had, with a more playful and sexy photos. Frank Dandy’s summer collection isn’t as strong coloured as usual but plays more with blue, turquoise and white to be more in line with the summer to come. With some exceptions of course, but we can’t turn all around from who we are.

There is a story behind that name. Last summer I got a phone call from my friend Ilir. Before I had the chance to say hello he shouted - "Chandalla, how are you?" I acted like I had heard that word before but during the whole convo I couldn´t stop thinking about it. Chandalla, what does it mean? Finally I just asked him. He told me that Chandalla is a word for a woman who is to die for. She is something else. Not like any other girl. She is a "Chandalla". I am a Chandalla, you are a Chandalla. But not everyone can be a Chandalla. It´s a state of mind.

Frank Dandy takes part in "HEART IN THE ART - Creative minds in support". HEART IN THE ART is a Swedish non-profit auction event where all the incomings are donated to Red Cross Sweden's work in Japan. A charity auction takes place on www.tradera.se (part of Ebay) where everything from fashion and art to is donated from various contributers and sold to the highest bidding.

Our contribution is 2 x 1000SEK gift card valid on all items in our online store. The gift cards will be handed over by our creative director Musse Hasselvall at our head office in Stockholm. So if you want some new undies or maybe a new pair of swim shorts, go a head and start bidding in the aid of Japan.

More about the event:

HEART IN THE ART - Creative minds in support was created by Margarita ”Maggie” Chinchilla with a simple idea; to use her network for gathering people to join her in the work for a good cause. Together with her assistant Karolina Genberg and with support from various companies, designers, creators, athletes, artists’ etcetera H.I.T.A. is now in motion and has received donations from both well-known and unknown contributors in Sweden within the fashion, art and film industry etcetera – but also from abroad.
